There’s nothing spooky about how beautiful this dental office turned out 😍 👉🏼 We expanded the existing lobby in to the empty space next door for a spacious and functional waiting room. 👉🏼 We put in a mini split hvac system, matched the existing flooring, framed, painted, and finished the space. 👉🏼 Custom benches and bar top were made and installed per the customer’s design. 👉🏼 The whole office got a fresh coat of paint and window tint. 👉🏼 We framed and finished a new consultation office, reversed the lobby door, and matched existing wallpaper for a fun accent. 👉🏼 Festive decorations were entirely the creative mind of our customer, but we think it was a fun addition to the finished space 😜 What is your favorite feature of this project? Our friends at @fayettegabiz are in the building 🙌🏼 This ground-up construction project features beautiful details and design from @craftinteriorsga . Hardwoods throughout, tasteful fixtures, a full kitchen, 2 full bathrooms, spacious conference room with a functional fireplace, front porch, reception area, 2nd story offices — all within walking distance of the charming city square. Completed project: @bturnersclothing in Peachtree City! We updated the hvac, flooring, paint, fixtures, doors, counter space for registers, columns, ceilings, and more to give the space a fresh modern look. We had a lot of real estate to work with, this building was ~40,000 sqft! We were so excited to work with this family business and bring B. Turner’s to PTC! Dream Dental & Orthodontics DEMO DAY 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼 We took out the wall in the waiting room to expand into the next-door space. Metal framing went up for consultation room as well. Things are moving quickly over here!!

Demo started today at Dream Dental & Orthodontics in Newnan! We’re expanding the waiting room, adding a consultation office, moving/replacing couple doors, tinting windows, and giving the whole office a fresh coat of paint! New hvac will go in to the new space, and it will also get new floors, hard surface counter space, and a modular furniture piece. We were on site this week checking everything out, and we’re so close to starting construction. Who else is excited for this buildout? We’re SO EXCITED to be partnering with some dear friends of ours in helping them build their dream home! This week, we set and poured basement foundation walls.

Construction update: @projectleannation_newnan Things are shaping up, and we’re so close to the finish line! Putting the finishing touches on this space, and we can’t wait to share the end result!

Here it is, folks.. @hummingbirdwinebarmkt at @240glynnst !! Wine bar, speakeasy, and market with a charming seating area. Some of our favorite features are the hidden bookcase door to the speakeasy, the beautiful finishes (checkout the hallway wall, which holds a curated artwork display), and the speakeasy coffered ceiling. Notable construction scope: Demo, new framing, insulation, electrical, lighting, plumbing. Paint & wallpaper. Bar construction in speakeasy. Wood plank ceiling and walls. Tile floors. Sliding barn doors. Coffered ceiling. Custom bookshelf/hidden door. We’re blown away by this unique space! What’s your favorite part?

It’s hard to believe that this is the same building we started with! School house to city hall to a unique and beautiful multi-tenant space in the heart of Fayette County. Each space is as unique as it is cohesive with the others. We tore down walls & put them up, refinished and replaced flooring, installed new electrical and lighting, plumbing, and hvac. Drywall, paint, fixtures, equipment installation, and everything in between. This was such a FUN project, and we’re so thankful and honored to have been a part of it! This reel was fast and furious, so stay tuned in the next week as we highlight each unique space and share the details/scope of work!

We had our littlest Blue Chip Builders come pick up trash and help get the site clean this weekend. Sharing what we love to do with those that we love is truly the greatest blessing!

Happy opening day, @foxtailcoffeeptc !!! We’re thrilled with how this space turned out. We took this space from empty paint shop to trendy local coffee shop. We added a drive thru & window, and built the space out from the floors all the way to the ceiling. New electrical, plumbing and fixtures, framing, wall coverings (so much TILE) and paint, equipment install, countertops, and lighting. We had so much fun partnering with @krystalmichelleart for the mural work and menu boards. Peachtree City, we hope you enjoy this coffee shop as much as we loved building it!!! The different finishes are unique, but cohesive. This space is going to be beautiful!

New drive thru concrete & patio for @foxtailcoffeeptc ☕️ We demo’d the existing curb and pulled it in tight to the building for the drive thru. We also poured a new patio space right next to the building. Did you catch their post earlier today? We shared it to our stories so you can see how the fresh concrete looks when it’s dry. @240glynnst is a multi-use space in the heart of Fayette County (check out their page for more info and to see what businesses will be a part of this innovative venture). They contracted us to do the demolition work on old City Hall, where they will be located, and we were happy to oblige!

The last space in our basement remodel series: the living room! New carpet, new paint, updated fixtures; customer-styled and furnished. Which space was your favorite?? Vote in our stories!

We worked with an architect on this project to comply with county regulations for safety & building requirements. Part of this scope was cutting concrete for new plumbing, cutting the existing framing to install a door to the adjacent bedroom, and installing new metal framing for the bathroom. From our basement remodel last fall: Demolition, new plumbing, framing, drywall, new tile shower and fixtures, new cabinets, new toilet, new countertop & fixtures, tile floor, electrical, and lighting.

Our customers needed to eliminate the builder-grade tub/shower combo for safety reasons. We remodeled the whole bathroom to update the space and fit their current needs of a walk-in shower with safety rails. From our basement remodel last fall: Demolition, framing, drywall, new tile shower and fixtures, new cabinets, new countertop & fixtures, tile floor, electrical, and lighting.

Our customers needed a full time living space in the basement of their home. We turned this game room/lounge in to a brand new kitchen, complete with sitting area and breakfast area. We also added new railing on the stairs for safety. Not pictured is a storage closet and laundry room off the kitchen, both areas new with this remodel! Trust the process! This golf cart garage was transformed from an unsuitable living space to a comfortable master bedroom. From our basement remodel last fall: Metal framing, insulation, drywall, new carpet, french door, new paint, new lighting and electrical, hvac, and trim.

Back in the fall, we completed a total basement remodel for a couple in Peachtree City. Our scope included: -converting a golf cart garage in to a bedroom -bathroom demolition and remodel -cut foundation to add plumbing for a second bathroom and full kitchen -full kitchen with island addition, new cabinets, handrail for the stairs, and appliances installed -bedroom remodel -new flooring, lighting, paint, and finishes throughout -added utility storage & closet (not pictured) We loved being able to provide a comfortable living space for our customers that fit their needs, budget, and vision. That’s a wrap on @burnbootcamplostmountainga !! This is our second @burnbootcamp buildout for the Yanceys, and we loved working with this power couple! They requested a fast timeline, and because of the nature of the build, we were able to deliver (after the extra long permitting process, of course). ✨ Office REMODEL ✨ Our customer needed a conference room & an office added to their existing space. We constructed the new walls, modified lighting & electrical to accommodate the new space, painted, and added glass windows.

This commercial business got a refresh! We painted the exterior of the building & added a new office within their existing space. Don’t underestimate the value of fresh paint in YOUR space! We work with an exceptional team of subcontractors to help deliver value to your project.

Metal framing is typically used in commercial construction. Here’s why: ▪️it’s non-combustible, providing an extra element of fire protection ▪️it’s more stable than wood, so there isn’t any contraction/expansion with temperature changes; also not subject to termites ▪️metal studs are easy to transport and often have precut holes for utilities (such as electrical or data) ▪️it’s easy to install metal studs in a space via channels with screws on the existing ceiling & floor ▪️if acoustics or aesthetics are a concern, you can rework the ceiling grid to extend the wall up in to the ceiling—this improves the integrity of the wall even more & also offers acoustical protection and visual uniformity Check out these in-progress photos of metal stud framing from the @sophistiplate office we’re working on in Atlanta!

F O U N D A T I O N. An even and smooth foundation is critical to a good tile job. If the concrete base is not flat, the tile is subject to cracking down the road with traffic and natural settling. Before our tile crew can get started in a couple areas, we needed to correct some uneven patchwork that had been done in the space prior to our buildout. No worries though, it’s “smooth” sailing from here 😎

Blue Chip Builders has a new employee: meet Ken! Ken is a hardworking handyman who loves home improvement projects, gardening, hunting, and spending time with his family. Which makes this the perfect job for him, because he’s also my father in law! We’re headed to @burnbootcamphiramga today to work on FLOORING 👏🏼👏🏼 This job is so close to wrapping up, and we’re very excited to show progress!

We always love it when a customer calls us for repeat business! It was a great opportunity to do work for Piedmont Cancer Institute in Fayetteville, and then again in Newnan. Both projects included modifying an existing layout to better suit the customer’s needs and utilize space in a more productive way.

It’s an XL cup of @dunkin today 🙌🏼☕️ If you saw my post a couple days ago, my favorite part of the job is field work. However, office work is a very important part of the job as well..I couldn’t do my job without it! Today was a productive blend of both: ✅ Job site visit (painting started today @burnbootcamphiramga ) ✅ Customer budget proposal finished and sent out ✅ Answered emails & made several phone calls ✅ Checked permit status for a job starting (hopefully) next week

I can’t let the day pass without acknowledging all the incredible mothers out there. Thank you for all you do!! No one can “measure” up to you (see what I did there?)! My life has been touched by the incredible mothers in my life—my mom, mother-in-law, sister, and so many friends. I’m especially grateful for my wife, Heather, who is the mother to our three precious children. I wouldn’t be the man I am without them!

One of my favorite things about the job is field work. From meeting customers on site to discuss project plans to checking on project progress, I love getting out of the office and interacting with the folks I’m working for. Happy National Construction Safety Week! During the week of May 3-7, we celebrate workplace safety awareness, even though it is a daily priority for us. The most important thing I can do to practice workplace safety is to take responsibility for my actions. I cannot count on someone else to keep me safe, it’s a conscious choice that I make. It could be anything from ensuring a good night’s sleep to making sure I’m wearing the proper PPE on a job (hard hat, gloves, safety glasses, and reflective clothing).
